Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu

The Ministry has secured access to online courses developed by Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu for this subject that you and your students can use, once you have arranged access.

Assessment support

The Ministry and NZQA are developing assessment guidance and resources that can be used within the constraints of distance learning. These include:

  • From NZQA: Internal Assessment Evidence Gathering Templates 

    The purpose of the Internal Assessment Evidence Gathering template is to help teachers to identify evidence of student achievement for internally assessed standards that they have seen or heard within the teaching and learning programme.

NZQA are also providing regular updates and advice on assessment.

Teaching and learning support

Arts Online teacher resource exchange – a forum where teachers can share resources and ideas.  

The Ministry of Education has made available a selection of resources to support home learning for Music Levels 1 and 2.

The L1 booklet contains resources for AS 91090 – Music in my bubble, and AS 91092 – Create and original.
